David Thullah, a Sierra Leonean citizen, resides in Freetown the capital of Sierra Leone. He holds a Master (MA) Degree in Descriptive and Applied Linguistics – Njala University, a First Class Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) with honors in Linguistics – Fourah Bay College, a Higher Teachers’ Certificate Secondary (HTCs) – Northern Polytechnic now Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology.

He aims at contributing meaningfully well to the Educational industry in Sierra Leone. The cornerstone for his focus on education is to capacitate teacher educators in the Teacher Training Institutions (TTIs) through the implementation of educational programs to re-write the story.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

David Thullah is a seasoned classroom teacher with a wealth of experience from kindergarten, early childhood, lower and upper primary education, junior and senior education, and tertiary levels. He is presently working with The Association of Language and Literacy Educators-Reading Sierra Leone (TALLE-RSL) in different capacities:

• He is a certified lead trainer in 2017 on pedagogical and cooperative teaching and learning classroom best practices. He is actually a reading specialist, a reading coach, and an educational consultant.
• He has served in the capacity of district supervisor for the Revitalizing Education in Sierra Leone (REDiSL)
• In 2018, he served in the capacity of network leader in the Result in Education for all Children (REACH) project.
• Served as a Procurement Officer.
• He has served as a senior school support coach in the Transforming Girls Education Project (TGEP) that span from 2020-2023.
• He is the currently appointed district coordinator for the Transforming Girls Education Project in Western Rural- Sierra Leone.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

• David Thullah has basic computer skills in excel, word, PowerPoint, publisher, and others.
• Can manage data well and analyze using graphics – with bi-charts, pie charts, histograms, and graphs design.
• Fluent English and native communication skills
• Report writing with different formats and designs.
• A good listener, can develop meeting agendas and write minutes in summary and narrative.
