FATMATA GOES TO SCHOOL

Fatmata lives with her grandmother in Maforki village. She wants to go to school, but could not pay her school fees. Her grandmother is too poor. The headteacher allows her to go to school. Fatmata works very hard and becomes a nurse. During a polio outbreak in Maforki, Fatmata helps in fighting the disease. She becomes the heroine of her village.

CLOUDS THE BEAUTY OF THE WORLD

Abu sees the clouds far away above his head. Some clouds are blue, yellow, and white. The clouds hang away and away from him. He wishes to fly high and touch the clouds but has no wings. When the stars and moonshine at night, Abu feels so good. Abu is always happy when the sun shines and rains fall from the clouds. He believes that the moon, the sun, and rain make the world beautiful for everyone.

Foday needs to have good food to be strong. He needs to have a nice bed to sleep on. He needs quality education to be successful. He needs to be disciplined when he goes wrong. He needs to be praised when he does right. He needs love and compassion. Foday needs all of these to be happy now and forever. #ForEveryChild

THE CRY OF NANCY
“Mother, when I complain nobody listens. When I am right, nobody knows. When I am wrong, everybody talks about it. Do not forget I am a child,” Nancy cries to her mother. “Ok Nancy, I will give you attention and encouragement. I will provide everything for you to be a good citizen,” Mother assures Nancy.
“Thank you mother, I need your support to make you always happy,” Nancy concludes.

SANTIGI’S DREAM

Santigi was the only son of a Paramount Chief in Port Loko. His father always told him how to live his life like a prince. Santigi wanted to think and do things on his own. He became very unhappy and decided to talk to his father.
“I know you want the best for me, but you have never asked me what I wanted for myself,” said Santigie. He later told his father that he wanted love, guide and quality education to help him succeed in life. Santigi’s father was surprised and promised to support Santigie to become successful.
