The Association of Language and Literacy Educators-Reading Sierra Leone (TALLE-RSL) is a registered non-governmental and non-profit organisation. It was formed in 2004 on the solid conviction of language and numeracy educators that the promotion of quality language and numeracy abilities is a critical variable in the development process of any nation.

The Association of Language and Literacy Educators-Reading Sierra Leone (TALLE-RSL) seeks to promote the effective teaching and learning of Language Arts (L1s & L2s) and Numeracy skills at the primary, senior and tertiary education levels through research/surveys, teacher training, consultancy, advocacy, assessment, monitoring, supervision, mentoring and the production of teaching and learning resources for the sustainable development of a sound and productive educational system.
We are working with education stakeholders to promote the Philosophy of TEACHING FOR LEARNING to build the literacy potentials of pupils to enable them to Read, Learn, and meaningfully Build and Lead the Future.
