Pursuing the TLFC Project to Improve Literacy Instructions in the Mano River Union.
TALLE – RSL TLFC Project implementation motivated them to visit their Partners in Liberia from the 17th to the 23rd of March 2023. This visit represents a significant step forward in enhancing collaborative efforts towards promoting sustainable quality education reform that builds a strong teacher training practicum system that breeds meaningful learning outcomes among primary school students/pupils in the two countries.
During the process, the team visited schools and Teacher Training Institutions/Universities and held consultations, classroom observations, and discussions with the Ministry of Education, National Commission on Higher Education officers, Teacher Educators and pre-service teachers to share and learn together. The Sierra Leone-Liberia Education Exchange Visit is a model worth preserving and emulating, particularly in countries/regions where shared educational policies and historical and cultural ties can be leveraged to advance common goals in promoting sustainable quality Education.
